Labor Auction
The Florence FFA is hosting a student labor auction at the Florence Union State Bank on October 16th. This auction consists of lots of three individuals from the Florence High School who are volunteering four hours of their time to work in the community. Each lot will go to the highest bidder and can be used for anything from household chores to building fence and more! The auction will begin at 10 am and run until all lots are sold.
Thanksgiving Meat Sale
The Florence FFA students are selling Seitz meat for Thanksgiving. Been holding out on buying a turkey or ham until the last minute? Well, now you can order from an FFA member to better their organization. Already have your main meat? That is okay too. We have a delicious pumpkin roll, or for a little more traditional dish, pecan cobbler. The orders will be filled by November 5th and will be delivered by the student which was ordered from before the Thanksgiving holiday. Payments will be made with the order and are to be made in checks. (All checks are to be made to the Florence FFA.) The students are responsible for keeping up with the orders, checks, and deliveries. Ensure the retrieval of a receipt in order to check up on the status of your order. Christmas Fruit and Meat Sale
Similar to the Thanksgiving sale, Seitz is allowing the Florence FFA to sell both meat and fruit for a Christmas fundraiser. Not only are the students selling hams and turkey, they are also selling juicy navels and apples. Beginning the week of October 28th, these orders will be over by November 19th and will be in right before the Christmas break. Again, the students will be responsible for the order, money, and deliveries. Ensure you get a receipt for your order to check on its status. All check are to be made to the Florence FFA.
